GreenDog Dog Training Accreditations
As a local and trusted specialist dog trainer, we aim to provide the best possible services in Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Part of our commitment is to complete training and certifications that demonstrate the level of training provided by GreenDog Dog Training, these accreditations confirm the minimum standards we offer our dog owners.
Kids Around Dogs (KAD)
Kids Around Dogs is an association of Dog Trainers and /or Behaviourists who work to educate and support families and children to train their dogs and live together in a respectful environment. Founded by Debby Lucken, its goal is to educate and build confidence in children when being with and around dogs. From giving talks in our schools to working with families expecting babies and children who have a fear of dogs, as a KAD approved Instructor I am excited and proud to be building positive and respectful relationships with boundaries and consideration for our four-legged friends.

The Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC)
The Animal Behaviour and Training Council, is a registered charity and its aim is to promote excellence in animal behaviour and training. The ABTC sets and maintains the National Register of appropriately assessed practitioners.
The ABTC believes it is not right to cause pain or harm to any animal.
As a member of the council GDDT understands that any training methods, programmes or equipment used must be science led, ethical, compassionate and non-punitive.
The register aims to help dog owners and professionals to find their way in an unregulated industry. It is important for GDDT to be a member of the council, as it reflects and supports Lisa’s own values.

The International Institute for Canine Ethics (IICE)
At the International Institute for Canine Ethics, we are dedicated to setting the gold standard in ethical and empathetic dog care, ensuring that every dog is treated with the respect, kindness, and understanding they deserve.
IICE support ethical, force-free professionals across the canine industry, including trainers, behaviourists, walkers, boarders, groomers, hydrotherapists, clinical massage therapists, and more.
UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter (UDBTC)
UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter is a code of conduct, ethics and methodology. The UDBTC is a collaboration of many of the UK’s leading behaviour and training membership organisations who have come together to work for the benefits of dogs and humans. This Charter aims to help dog owners find a path in an unregulated industry.
The UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter is “Working together to help the nations Dogs and their people” through accredited training professionals like Lisa Newnham at GreenDog Dog Training.

Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT)
PACT have a vision to revolutionise the companion animal training sector by building & supporting a skilled, welfare-friendly and environmentally-conscious community of dog training & behaviour experts.
The Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT) Support dog training & behaviour professionals with their emotional, physical & mental wellbeing, which is one of their top priorities, as well as reducing the environmental impact of living & working with companion animals.
