Imagine a wide-open, secure paddock under open skies, where every dog has room to run, explore and learn.

GDDT’s certified dog training Lisa Newnham will be delivering 3 dedicated training sessions for 6 lucky furry family member owners right here on the South Coast, up on Portsdown Hill overlooking the skyline for the city of Portsmouth.

The Bark Park location provides exclusive access to a peaceful, off-lead space ideal for focused training sessions, away from traffic, stress or distractions, allowing for your training to have the most positive impact.

The location will provide the opportunity to build a reliable RECALL, use a LONGLINE, be confident in your LOOSELEAD skills and ENJOY engaging safe walks.

Week Period

11th Feb 2026

Session 1

In your first session we will cover equipment and why do dogs pull. You will learn about treats and reward, focus work and lead work (including games, problem solving, observations and canine body language)

18th Feb 2026

Session 2

Throughout this session we will cover the use of long line, recall methods, (including games, problem solving, observations and canine body language)

25th Feb 2026

Session 3

In our third session you will join our coastal walk, putting all new skills into practice with support from our fantastic team.

All attending furry family members must remain on their leads or longlines during all sessions.

Staying close is safer for your dogs and others. It reduces the risk of getting lost, running into danger, or distributing wildlife. However friendly your dog is, others may not be.
